Looks I'm lovin' - the leather vest

Ok so, I have to admit when my friend B and I first spotted leather vests in Urban Outfitters this past spring I was slightly skeptical. B's style is a bit edgier than mine so she was instantly hooked. I have to give it to her, she def has an eye for fashion b/c soon after we first spotted it I started seeing them EVERYWHERE...and now, I'm afraid to say, I've jumped on the bandwagon :-/

Amerie rocked one during fashion week, and she looked HOT!

Of course THE fashionista of the moment (next to Rihanna), Amber Rose had to rock the look.

And last but not least B swagging the leather vest out in Miami this past summer (please disregard my silly facial expression lol)

I consider myself to be a "frugalista" - a fashionista who knows how to get more bang for her buck. Take this look from Rihanna (one of my fav looks from her Summer '09 closet) for example:

Rihanna's boots alone are $750 but if you're like me and you're ballin' on a budget, you can try to copycat this whole look for waaaay more than half the price of her shoes.

ChiomaB Intro

HELLLOOOOO BLOG WORLD (or is it Blogville? Hell if I know)!!! I am pleased to say that this is my first blog entry! Can you tell how excited I am?

Soooo since this is my first post I guess I should tell you a little about myself...I'm going by the name ChiomaB because it sounds a little more posh than what I actually go by lol. I'm originally from Nigeria, but I was born and raised in the U.S. I'm in my 20s, I'm a college graduate, and I enjoy living the good life lol. My good friend, Posh Powell, and I created this blog because we wanted to create an avenue where we could share our views on life and fashion with others outside of our circle. That's just a snippet, hopefully through this blog you will learn a little more about me with each post.
